The legacy and mission of Soul Train includeds, aspects of Social Responsibility, Empowerement and Change. For 45 years we have adored, protected, taken ownership & respect the legacy of this cherished brand.

 

Soul Train was an outlet for young people to express themselves with dance, music and fashion. It was also a safe haven for Chicago youth. In the beginning, Soul Train was like an afterschool program. Don Cornelius took young people off the streets of Chicago, put them on the dance floor & in front of the camera after school. He was the first to do this, his pioneering idea of the Soul Train show had given young people a purpose and mission. This is what is missing in many urban neighborhoods in our country, Purpose & Mission. Young people in Chicago, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, etc. could benefit from this same type of formula today.

​The SOUL TRAIN IMPACT

 

All of these ideas and progress are now being passed on, instilled, implemented. We now have an impact on our youth today with The SOUL TRAIN IMPACT event annually in Chicago. We are giving young people an opportunity to express themselves, learn & interact with the best professionals in the business. We give the youth tools for their success through the SOUL TRAIN IMPACT panel of professionals. We seek professionals in televison, music, radio and the entertainment industry.

 

 

With a proven track record over the last four years, The SOUL TRAIN IMPACT has been a safe haven for youth & is dedicated to Empowering, Uplifting and Exciting young people. All the while sharing ideas and tools for life, education and career. Soul Train has been an opportunity for artists, businesses, marketing professionals and television industry professionals to succeed and leave an IMPACT on the community and various industries. Our model comes from the original idea of the late, great Don Cornelius.
